“Konami has made the decision to close its Los Angeles Studio, effective immediately, due to the product development resources being restructured into a more centralized unit,” Konami said in a statement to Polygon. There isn’t much else to say, but we can all agree that this is a sad circumstance for the employees and fans alike.
According to The New Yorker Hideo Kojima has officially left Konami and will be free to move to work on other projects with other companies in December.
