Final Fantasy VII Remake Voice Acting Almost Finished According To Producer

| Categories: Video Games | 5 Comments »

In the newest issue of Dengeki PlayStation,  Yoshinori Kitase the Final Fantasy VII Remake producer stated that the voice recording for the remake  is nearly complete. He also points out that Cloud is in his prime, and will be unlike his Final Fantasy VII Advent Children self. Below you can see his words on the subject-

“A remake of Final Fantasy VII required substantial preparedness,” Kitase told Dengeki PlayStation. “The voice actors have almost finished voice recording of the main story. Fans may have the image of the Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but since this is the ‘prime’ Cloud from before Advent Children, the performance may feel fresh.”

But that is not all, in   the latest promotional art for the game Sephiroth appears in the background with his now trademark black wing. This has been rather controversial among fans as he had not originally appeared in the earl parts of the game. In regards to this Kitase had this to say- “I’ll leave the meaning of the Sephiroth that doesn’t exist in the original  to everyone’s imagination.”.

It might not be much, but it is something. Hopefully we get some more substantial information soon.

In case you missed it, Final Fantasy VII received two new screenshots this week, and with it a new combat analysis by us. Check those out below-
