Yeah, I didn’t want to start speculating on why, and, really, I can’t even think of a reason why Sony would shut it down. Doesn’t impact me too much because it’s far more convenient to not use the PS Store on a PSP since downloading over a PSP is terrible, but it still doesn’t make me feel particularly good that Sony’s doing something like this.

There’s a Saturn project to get it to boot from an SD card. I believe someone has made one, but it’s not available as a consumer product. That’s what I really want, and the same for Dreamcast, but it runs into the legal issues you note which make it unlikely to see any kind of official release.

I can’t back this. It’s too unrealistic. Putting Dreamcast games up for sale on-line isn’t that simple. Sega controls its own assets, sure, but others? Not gonna happen. Plus you have licensing issues to consider, such as how Crazy Taxi’s original soundtrack and locations were removed from later releases of the game.

They just crammed too much into combat without really thinking about if it made sense to structure it like that. Pokemon enemy capturing? Sure, that’s fun. Only one character can do it? I wish there were some gameplay details here, but I suppose it’s too soon. I want to see if Level 5 fixed the crummy combat of the first game.
