Easter weekend is now over! With that of course Sakura Con 2017 is now over! So of course, Myself and other Sidearc members attended this event. So below is just a small sample of our amazing experience.

The Cosplayers-

Lets be honest, one of the coolest things about Conventions is the Cosplayers. Sakura Con is of course no exception. Below you can view just a small sample of some of the amazing Cosplays we got to see. Sadly we missed many amazing ones due to the mass of people attending the convention. We still managed to get a good amount though!

See our gallery below, and keep going to view more about the Con-

AMV Theater-

AMV’s Or Anime Music Videos are an amazing spectacle when handled correctly. They can be funny, sad or awe inspiring. At Sakura Con they have an entire theater room dedicated to AMV’s. This is a great place to sit and relax while you watch some awesome things. Below you can check out a few of the AMV’s we saw and enjoyed-

Then my personal favorite right below, which of course is from the amazing animated film Tokyo Godfathers-

Shopping-

This  is a convention, so of course there is a giant shopping area. In it you can find tons of Manga, tons of movies and other such things. Beyond that you can find Clothes and props as well as Plushies and tons of other strange things. There is truly a lot to look at and buy at Sakura-Con. The more you look the more treasure you can find, that is to say if someone else didn’t buy it first.

This year I did not buy much thanks to some money mistakes I made before the Convention. Though I was able to grab some great looking reading material and movies. There was many things I had wanted to buy, but being short on money this time around prevented that as I have quite expensive taste.

Conclusion-

Sakura Con 2017 as with every year I have gone was extremely fun. Admittedly with most conventions I find that they stress me more than the are worth, but with this one I find myself more sad that it had to end so soon. It is safe to say this is my favorite Convention, and I plan on attending next year.

Though this year had some issues(likely due to the nearby protest). Of course with that said I still managed to have a lot of fun and see plenty of awesome things! If you want to go to a Con and are curious where to start, well Sakura-Con is great place to start.
