Konami Is Shuting Down Los Angeles Studio (Kojima Productions Los Angeles)

“Konami has made the decision to close its Los Angeles Studio, effective immediately, due to the product development resources being restructured into a more centralized unit,” Konami said in a statement to Polygon.

There isn’t much else to say, but we can all agree that this is a sad circumstance for the employees and fans alike.

I really hope this doesn’t mean the end of MGS V support since I have yet to play MGO…
I wonder if Konami will end the MGS series since they shut down one of the studios that worked on MGS.
